Family Offices & Trusted Advisors

Independent yacht guidance for professional advisers, family offices and private client representatives whose clients are considering a yacht purchase, ownership, relocation or other significant yachting decision.

Anthony Austin Yachts supports trusted advisers with calm, independent, captain-led guidance on the practical realities of yacht ownership. We do not act as a traditional broker, nor do we replace the formal roles of surveyors, lawyers, tax advisers, insurers or yacht managers.

Our role is to help clients and their advisory teams understand the practical, operational and ownership implications of a decision before momentum, emotion or sales pressure takes over. This can include whether a yacht is genuinely suitable for the owner, what questions need answering, where specialist advice is required and what risks should be understood before commitments are made.

Independent Yacht Acquisition Evaluation

For Private Buyers, Family Offices and Trusted Advisers

For significant yacht acquisitions, Anthony Austin Yachts provides an independent evaluation of whether a yacht is genuinely right for the owner, not simply attractive on paper.

The review considers practical suitability, operational realities, likely ownership exposure and the areas that need specialist confirmation before a purchase moves forward.

It can be prepared for private buyers directly or, where appropriate, shared with their family office, private bank, lawyer, wealth adviser or other trusted professional. The aim is to give everyone involved a clearer, more practical view of the yacht before commitments are made.

Where a transaction requires it, we can also provide further focused guidance on particular operational, ownership or decision-making considerations identified during the review.

When to involve us

Before a client travels to view a yacht, before an offer, before survey, before handover, before relocation or when an owner needs practical support.

Protecting your relationship

We support the client quietly, keep communication clear, and do not attempt to displace the existing professional relationship.

What we do not do

We do not replace legal advice, tax advice, class surveys, insurance advice or formal yacht management where those are required.

Supporting your client, protecting your role.

Anthony Austin Yachts is designed to sit alongside the client’s existing advisory structure.

We provide calm, independent guidance where yachting knowledge, operational judgement and practical experience at sea can help protect the client’s position.

For professional advisors, the benefit is simple: a trusted, captain-led resource that can help your client make better yacht decisions without disrupting the relationship you have already built.

We understand that trust is already held by the advisor, family office or professional representative.

Our role is to support that relationship, not replace it.

We communicate clearly, act discreetly, and provide practical insight that can sit alongside the client’s existing legal, financial, tax, insurance and professional advice.

We do not attempt to displace the advisor, take over the client relationship or create unnecessary commercial pressure.

Where appropriate, we can work directly with the client, through the advisor, or alongside an existing professional team.

Let’s support your clients next move

If you are advising a client who is considering yacht purchase, ownership, relocation or practical yacht support, we would be pleased to have a confidential conversation.
