Private Yacht Viewing Attendance
Private Yacht Viewing Attendance is for buyers who want an experienced, independent perspective alongside them when they view a yacht in person.
A yacht viewing can be persuasive. The setting is polished, the yacht is prepared, and attention naturally goes to the features that make the strongest first impression. This service helps you slow the process down and look beyond presentation, sales momentum and the pressure to make a quick decision.
Before the viewing, we review the listing, available information and your intended ownership plans. During the visit, we consider how the yacht may work in real use: movement on board, guest flow, owner comfort, crew practicality, machinery-space access, tender arrangements, maintenance implications, cruising suitability and the practical compromises that may not be obvious in photographs or a short broker-led tour.
The purpose is not to turn a viewing into a survey or technical inspection. It is to give you calm, captain-led judgement at the point where the yacht becomes real, helping you recognise the questions that should be raised and whether the opportunity deserves further time, negotiation, survey expense or a decision to move on.
You will receive:
A private pre-viewing call to discuss the yacht and your priorities
Review of the listing and available documentation
Independent attendance at one yacht viewing
Practical observations focused on suitability, operation and ownership reality
Priority questions for the broker, surveyor or relevant specialists
A private post-viewing debrief and clear next-step note
This service does not replace a condition survey, valuation, legal advice or specialist technical inspection. It is designed to help ensure those next steps are taken on the right yacht, for the right reasons.
Important travel information
The selected location price is the professional-fee base for one yacht viewing, including pre-viewing preparation, attendance, a private post-viewing debrief and concise written next-step observations.
For viewings outside the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, flights, accommodation, local transfers, visas where required and other reasonable travel expenses are charged separately at cost plus 15%. Estimated expenses will be agreed and invoiced in advance before travel arrangements are confirmed.
Viewings involving multiple yachts, additional travel days, urgent arrangements, remote locations or complex itineraries may require a separate quotation.
